Autumn Thoughts

I found this on Tumblr HERE

It's been a while hasn't it? How is everyone? Hope you are all well :)

Recently I've been feeling very excited about Autumn and seeing as it is now October it's officially time for a Autumn-ie post so I thought I would write about everything I'm looking forward to this Autumn xxxx

I'm looking forward to:

  • cooler weather so that I can (finally) wear my jumpers and jeans and boots and coats
  • long walks in the crisp air with leaves crunching under my feet and being wrapped up warm
  • it pouring with rain whilst I'm at home nice and warm and falling asleep to the sound of the rain
  • lots of tea, hot chocolates and coffee in little coffee shops
  • it getting dark early and being able to light candles and turn on fairy lights
  • knitting and making scarves and maybe a jumper
  • Christmas (I know its far to early  and also classed as winter but I'm still really excited)
  • reading lots of books whilst drinking tea
  • going to pick chestnuts and also buying roasted ones from the roadside
  • going shopping in the evenings when all the street lights are on

Are you looking forward to Autumn? What are you most looking forward to?

Talk to you all soon xxxxx
Emily :)

  9. I love walks in crunch leaves! Autumn + winter, considering they are freezing, are such cosy times of year. Nothing beats snuggling up on the sofa with a good book and a warm cuppa :)
